Microtech Surfaces

Quantum is pleased to bring the ‘Microtech’ surface to some of our current collections.  Microtech is an advanced glazing technology designed to provide a natural matt surface, but with slip-resistant qualities. Unlike most slip-resistant tiles, where materials are applied during production to create a rough, structured or grip surface, ‘Microtech’ utilizes advanced microscopic or nano technology with special glazes which creates a matt, yet slip-resistant surface. This makes for an easily cleanable and practical surface, that can be used both indoors and out for that seamless flow, is comfortable to walk on, and remains slip-resistant when wet.

Traditionally when selecting tiles for both indoors and out, or commercial wet areas you would require a tile with the same or similar design but a different surface. Today with this advent of  ‘Microtech’ you only need the one tile! Perfect for public spaces, or the modern home, where taking the indoors out is increasingly popular.
