The Matipo Tea House is designed with a focus on human wellbeing and spatial functionality, creating the ideal environment to meet the needs of its owners. The exterior palette is seamlessly integrated into the interior, reflected in the cabinetry, custom-finished switch plates, and door hardware. Timber window joinery, flooring, and wall and ceiling linings add warmth and a sense of home.
Unique Travertine Ruled Cream textured wall tiles are used throughout the walk-in shower and the rest of the room, providing an organic and grounding effect. This palette is carried into the space with a pale green Dekton counter and red hardware accents.
The slightly unconventional color combinations complement the other finishes, creating playful yet gentle and calm spaces.
