Small Room, Big Impact
Auckland | Sep 23

Contrary to popular belief that small rooms should equal small tiles, this bathroom incorporates optical illusions with tiles to take this small room and create big impact.

Our Primary white wave subway tiles laid vertically, serve to lengthen and elongate the walls they are on, visually making the ceiling appear higher.

Meanwhile the large format Underground white tiles create a feeling of space. With fewer grout lines breaking up the space our eyes are more effectively guided to the furthest points in the room, creating an illusion of depth and a larger area.

As well as size, colour can play a huge part in how tiles affect a space – lighter tiles make a room feel airier and brighter. By opting for white tones in both tile formats this bathroom feels brighter and by default, bigger, especially when the light bounces off the surfaces.
